Read More, George Cecil Woodruff, Jr. May 24, 1928- May 12, 2011 Midland, Georgia- George Cecil Woodruff, Jr., affectionately known as "Bumpsey," died on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Jones Hunter of Arden; a son, Edward Eugene Hunter III of Overland Park, Kan.; and three grandchildren. The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, with Pastor David Woodruff officiating. Funeral services are scheduled at First Presbyterian Church, 1100 First Avenue, Columbus on Saturday, May 14, 2011, 3 p.m., with Reverend Charles R. Hasty, Jr. officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus.
